A superb super-premium Vodka made using non-GM ingredients. It's quite rare that a vodka (or any white spirit for that matter) impresses us to the point of wanting to tell people about it. Beluga is one of those rare spirits. Well worth a go.
Light oat and citrus sweetness, with a mellow touch of honey coming through. Hints of spice develop.
Better with grey goose ? a lot better
Sipped at room Temp over 2 pieces of ice, nice and smooth taste, No burn, i have been drinking Vodka in Moderation for over 45 Years, Only poor quality Vodka is from the Freezer to Mask the moderate Taste and Burn, Beware!.
Don’t drink anything else now. Did a cruise with Viking from Moscow to St Petersberg and drank Beluga Vodka at every given opportunity. Now I don’t buy anything else.....stunning
I was given a bottle of this by my son's girlfriend. Got it today, straight from the freezer. I've now had three large shots and obviously I love it. How lovely and unusual to open a bottle top packaging and find a cork. How lovely to have a sturgeon (in relief) design on the bottle. Clearly need to order caviar ...Loving the taste. I don't get sweetness but I get a clean grainy note and, doh, a helluva kick. It's brilliant and, for a gift, you cannot do better than to give a seriously good, AND RUSSIAN , bottle of vodka.
It's really smooth! Overrated? Maybe, but still worth the price in my opinion. If you want to drink shots you should definitely try this. For cocktails Reyka or Stolichnaya are better value and also high quality. I also like Belvedere though I do think Beluga is the smoothest out of all 4.
