A vodka called Devil's Spring vodka ( made in New Jersey USA) used to be available. It is (was 160 proof). I am certain your Balken vodka is smoother and distilled more gracefully. I hope it is available in USA soon.
If you don't close your mouth quickly it evaporates before you can swallow. I was bought this as a present a couple of years ago and just noticed it while searching the site for absinthe, after reading some of the reviews I felt I should leave one too. So look.. The stuffs 88% by volume! If you're actually disappointed that it wasn't a great tasting smooth sophisticated beverage then your optimism is admirable if wildly unrealistic. Even if the remaining 12% volume was a form of magical bacon Silk it would still be a slap to the face that's too volatile for the average car to safely run on! That being said it was definitely an experience to try it and that's what life's about.
