From Cuervo's ultra-premium super-top-drawer line of fabulous Tequilas in equally fabulous wooden boxes (just check out the The Anejo, a spirit we like to refer to as "El Tigre", but not because it has a picture of a tiger on the box, no, we call it that for other reasons - what happens in Tijuana stays in Tijuana, ok.).
Light, peppery, sweet, honeyed agave on the nose, alongside parsley and honey, toffee apple and nutmeg, a little charcoal.
Sweet, spicy palate with notes of pepper and honey, honeydew melon, hay, the concept of joy and sweet cereals.
Chamomile tea and cinnamon.
The most delicious tequila I have ever experienced. Perfect for sipping, too delicate for mixing.
Much less pricey than the Reserva anejo, but deserving of the label. Nice balance of sweetness and tangy citrus. Too good to ever mix - drink this neat or on the rocks.
