A top quality Tequila here, Arquitecto Tequila is made in Jalisco by Enrique Fonseca (who is also a trained architect – which might explain the name and the label) using blue weber agave at the Tequileña Distillery. An excellent spirit for using in cocktails – we're looking forward to making a Paloma with this full-bodied Tequila...
Bold agave up front, with lingering sweetness of vanilla, leading into subtly flinty hints plus a crackle of black pepper.
Dense, creamy clay notes. Smooth as silk, and that reassuring, clean, additive free finish. It even looks good on display thanks to Mr Fonseca. A wonderful tequila.. Hard to share but worth it when you see the faces light up. Looking forward to a restock
