Acid Phosphate 10cl

Nothing scary here - honest! In fact, it's a groundbreaking cocktail ingredient created by those clever sorts from top London bar the Worship Street Whistling Shop! Renowned for their innovative and skilful mixing of such seemingly unusual and often home-made substances since they opened in 2011, this unique acid phosphate spirit drink takes inspiration from the soda fountain ingredient of old.

Produced in partnership with Master of Malt, phosphoric acid is partially neutralised with magnesium and potassium (giving an overall pH which is low and quite safe to drink) and mixed with high-quality copper pot still wheat spirit. Simply add a few drops or perhaps even half a teaspoon or so to a cocktail to provide any required sourness and acidity without the need to add lemon or lime juice (which, of course, would come with citrus fruit flavours of their own).

With this one ingredient, a whole new world of possibilities opens up for bartenders, mixologists and cocktail enthusiasts everywhere, and that is certainly something to be very, very excited about!
