Boxing Hares from Whiskey Union (Diageo's experimental whisky crew) sits somewhere between whisky and beer. To make it, they infuse Scotch whisky with the sorts of hops you'd find in your favourite IPA beers, along with a touch of sugar. Those hares on the label do look pretty ready for a scrap...
Quite sweet, with fresh tropical fruit and toffee. Hints of oily hop bitterness lingers on the finish.
