Produced by maestro Jose Ines in Aguacatito, this unaged agave spirit was distilled exclusively from the Chino agave (a sub-species of Cupreata agave). The agave is fermented in shallow vats and double distilled in a Filipino still. It's only distilled once a year, so savour this one.
Smoked herbs, with aromatic basil and orchard fruit sweetness among the smoke.
By far one of the most unique flavours I’ve tasted so far in the MAS subscription! So easy to drink and a sure fire win for anyone, from beginners of bc the agave spirit world to the pros. I absolutely got candy on the nose - forest fruit sweetness and a little smoke but much less than other mezcal. Overall a very easy drink - I preferred with ice but lovely neat too! Very easy drink for a 49.9%!!
I have a total of 6 bottles of different products of the Sin Gusan Project and their Chino is my favorite , cheese and candy on the nose , smooth and silky !! i love it !!
