A herbaceous non-alcoholic spirit from the Seedlip range. Somewhat similar to gin, Seedlip's inventive expressions are based around the distilled non-alcoholic remedies found in The Art of Distilling (written in 1651), made using copper stills and careful selections of botanicals, but no alcohol whatsoever. Seedlip Garden 108 is made with hay, pea, rosemary, spearmint, and thyme.
Try Seedlip Garden 108 with elderflower tonic, served over ice with a cucumber ribbon.
Grassy at first, with herbaceous notes of thyme and rosemary standing out.
Good luck to them but, when this weakly flavoured water stops being the trend of the moment, they're in trouble because those prices are utterly ridiculous. Absolute robbery to be honest.
I was excited to hear of an 'alcohol free spirit'. Was I disappointed! To me it tastes just like flavoured water. I'm sure I could throw a few herbs into water, boil it on the stove, and have something similar and for free. This is hugely expensive and a waste of money in my opinion.
I found this to taste like infused water. I paid $69 at Farro for this and at that price it definitely wasn't worth it. Its nice but not at the price point that it is at. I would pay no more than $25 for this.
Long awaited. A pleasant clean green taste. Goes well with soda and ice. At last a drink for those who do not want the sweetness of the non alcoholic drinks usually on offer.
Basically tastes of peas. Nothing like gin. At all.
