Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Through toasted oak there’s plenty of soft vanilla and buttered corn, as well as a little creamy cereal sweetness. Dark caramel and a little banana note are present in the backdrop.
Palate: The palate is rich and thick with lots of salted butter, brown sugar and toffee. Baking spices prickle away throughout.
Finish: A little spice lingers in a medium-length finish.
Overall: My word, this is a seriously tasty dram. Colour me impressed.

To young to be bottled and failed to deliver on what is promised
Didn’t get any butter notes at all in fact it’s quite rough around the edges being that it’s 47.5% alcohol by volume and it tastes way higher than that like a single cask rye between 50% to 55%. May be I just got a duff batch but it tasted rough as hell not like many bready corn whiskeys and whisky’s I’ve had. I’m use to drinking whisky @ 45% so another 2.5% isn’t going to be that bad but this is. It’s probably because of its age being a young whiskey but those buttery pop corn like flavours if they are there are taken over by the eithery nature of this young dram, another 4 to 5 years will calm its nasty burn down and will take on more barrel influence in my 1.Lt no 3 charred American oak barrel so that is where it’s going in a dry but slightly damp place perfect for chilling rough spirits out lol. They are far better corn whiskeys out there with 100% corn because I can taste rye in this so if you really want to try a truly good corn whiskey then buy Balcone baby blue corn whiskey as those buttery caramel pop corn flavours are on point on that dram. Gets a 2.5 rating because it fails to deliver on what is promised and it’s too young at the moment and 50Cl for £50.00 is way to expensive for this at £10.00 per 10 Cl.

Simply stunning
Honestly in the top 5 of offerings I've sampled and trust me I've had more than my fair share. The nose is sweet and full of buttery goodness. The colour is so dark for its two years largely down to the small casks and heavy char. Thick and unctuous on the palate, rich creamy buttered caramel with toasted popcorn. The finish is medium but will have you reaching for more. I was truly upset when it disappeared and could only find it on rare whisky sites for well over £70. So pleased to be reliving the experience. Buy it.
