Pentire Adrift is a glorious non-alcoholic botanical spirit made with ingredients found in North Cornwall. Native botanicals include rock samphire, sea fennel, sage, citrus and Cornish sea salt, either sustainably sourced or organically grown. A uniquely maritime spirit, great simply with tonic and a twist of lemon peel.
To serve, fill a glass with ice, pour in 50ml of Pentire Adrift, top up with light tonic water, and garnish with rosemary.
A hint of anise, salty and herbaceous notes intertwine, with a dash of lively citrus and mineral sea salt, with a warming finish.
I can only day good things about Pentire. Far better balanced than Seedlip and something about the Cornish heritage that makes it taste even better! Customer experience on purchase was first class as well. Highly recommend
This has a very odd flavour. The aftertaste is very reminiscent of the sea, mixed with something like a light cooking oil. Most unpleasant. I've given it to a friend to try for a second opinion
