Coming from Pennsylvania, which used to be rather well known for its whiskeys, Dad's Hat Pennsylvania Rye looks to put the Keystone State back on the (aged grain spirit) map. It's made with a mashbill of 80% rye, 15% malted barley and 5% malted rye, and aged in charred new oak quarter casks for at least six months. Bundles of vanilla, sweet, dark fruits and classic rye spiciness. Also, it's called Dad's Hat, which is awesome.
