The folks over at Lyre's in Australia have been rather busy creating this non-alcoholic Dry London Spirit, which if you hadn't guessed already, has been made in the style of a London Dry gin. Hence why the penguin on the label has a bowler hat and a monocle. Wait, does that explain why the penguin is dressed like people?
Peppery juniper, with floral notes of jasmine, tangy citrus and orange blossom.
Tried it straight from the bottle expecting it to be ‘watery’ as some people have said - it tasted exactly like gin!! It even burnt my mouth a little (in a good way). Tried it this evening as a double with tonic. Absolutely delightful, certainly making my dry January easier.
The good reviews make me feel like I'm on another planet. It's beautifully packaged ... water. And really expensive at that. What a sucker I am for buying four bottles of Lyre's at once. I'd rather just drink tonic with bitters then pretend this is anywhere close to a gin and tonic.
Fantastic just tastes like gin! Mix it with tonic and it tastes like the real thing
This product is not only alcohol-free but it is taste free too. Tap water has more flavour. What is Master of Malt doing stocking, let alone selling this rubbish? Get rid of it before it does more damage to your reputation. What a rip-off.
Not the best, lacks flavor and is very watery. Disappointed with this as £20 a bottle.
