Lindores New Make Spirit is the creation of Lindores Abbey Distillery and is a reiteration of the first release in 2018 which sold out almost immediately. This is an intriguing spirit that hints at pears and a sweet brininess that gives way to vanilla and warmth. A silk-textured treat that will keep people guessing during a blind tasting.

My first taste of the new make and I was unprepared for what was to come. A bit hit of flat maltiness like a bottle of Butty Bach, just been opened, followed by a wallop of booziness. I had not realised it was 63%! Full of loverly Marris Otter flavour it's smooth and creamy. Actually kind of more excited about this than the MCDXCIV. Makes a cracking old fashioned too!
