Great dram, great nose, unique rye

Great rye, different than any other rye and in a good way. Great rye toast with a light layer of fruit preserves, tea spices, hint of baking spices or clove, fantastic nose, could live in the nose all evening by a fire. Great for cocktails too. Recommend it!

Fantastic bold rye dram that is not the typical rye profile

I love this rye whiskey. A flavorful mix of rye bread, spice, dark herbal tea, not too dry but not too sweet, great sipper neat but can hold up to an ice cube or two. Highly recommend it as an alternative rye to the typical ryes that are more like a bourbon with a peppery kick, this is more unique than that kind of profile. Paid $50 for it and to me it drinks higher than that, so pretty good value.
