BIRDS
BIRDS is an interesting German spirit made with a base of Riesling wine, which is distilled then macerated with a selection of botanicals from five continents (including clove, voatsiperifery pepper, liquorice, star anise, apple, blackcurrant, orange peel, mace, eucalyptus, pink pepper berries, cocoa shell and angelica root) then distilled once again. Fresh and fruity, with plenty of exotic spice backing it up. Perfect for cocktails and mixed drinks.
Strawberry and waxy orange, peppercorn, earthy warmth and juicy sweetness.
Quite unusual and therefore interesting. But it lacks complexity. The aromas are very similar to the typical ones that you will find in a bakery at Christmas. I wouldn't buy it again.
Amazing with Fevertree Mediterranean and a slice of orange!
Amazing product and so versatile. I enjoyed it most with tonic and orange garnish but also great in a Sour.
not usable with tonic, except you like some winter bakery aroma with your tonic.. With fevertree ginger beer its getting intresting, but i'm not a fan of it
If you have not tried this gin, you should. It is quite floral, and I think it works well with just a decent tonic, like fever tree mediterranean and you can really taste the beauty of it.
