Barti Spiced from The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company is a blend of Caribbean rums spiced with notes of vanilla, cloves and orange and a special ingredient: Pembrokeshire laver seaweed, also known as Welshman's caviar. As it's bottled at 35% ABV, it can't technically be called a spiced rum, due to laws and that. The name derives from a famous Pembrokeshire Pirate, 'Barti Ddu', or in English 'Black Bart'.

I’m not normally a fan of spiced rum at all but this is fantastic!! Delicious on its own. Don’t ruin it with a mixer.
Spice rum is everywhere..supermarkets can't shift the stuff yet Barcardi anejo and Barcardi carta oro can't get order or ever find the stuff because it's not spiced .....one day this firm will wake up
It's well under 40% so it's not even classed as a rum it's more than likely filled with additives and that's why it's well liked.
Lovely smooth spiced rum I would not dream of spoiling with coke
First thing - no hint of seaweed (except for a slightly salty aftertaste which is quite nice). Instead they seem to have packed every possible Christmas spice into the bottle. Sometimes its mince pies, sometime christmas cake, xmas pudding, dundee cake, everything. Top be honest, on first sip and smell its a little overwhelming, but it gradually subsides into something altogether more pleasant - and always that salty aftertaste leaves you wanting more.
