An extra añejo sotol - these are very rare indeed. The spirit is made in a similar way to Mezcal, except using the Desert Spoon rather than agave. The H5 sotol from Hacienda de Chihuahua spends 5 years ageing in new French white oak barrels. As the oldest expression they make, the proverbial jewel in their sotol crown, expect a wealth of gorgeously rich flavours.
