
This sotol from Flor del Desierto is made in Chihuahua from 100% Daisylirion wheeleri, which hasn't been cultivated and instead is harvested from the surrounding area. Flor del Desierto sotols are named for the region they're produced in, and Sierra is an unaged expression, which has been open fermented in wooden barrels before being distilled in clay stills.
Grassy and mineral notes on the nose, giving way to gentle smoke, resin, mint, and clove, with a creamy backbone.
