A blend of Demerara rums from Guyana. The rums are matured in Guyana before blending.
A thick, syrupy rum with notes of spice and molasses, a little acetone and a buttery mouthfeel.
Watson is my favourite Christmas rum. I think its the best demerara rum to enhance a good eggnog. If I'm making eggnog Watsons is the perfect accompaniment.
This is a lovely old fashioned dark rum and I think it deserves to be better known and more popular. It's robust enough to hold its own against any mixer and smooth enough to be sipped.
This rum is a great everyday sipping rum easy to drink and gives a good deal of pleasure. Not outstanding in terms of flavour which is why the rating is where it is, but I expect to be stocking up on this soon. Just in time for Christmas!
nice alternative to mortons..its a shame you cant buy it in a supermarket up here tho..
Amber/red colour. Very sugary nose. Quite a harsh alcohol burn and intensely warming. Flavours of slightly burnt sugar, and toffee or butterscotch. Not much of an aftertaste.
