A blend of Demerara rums from Guyana. The rums are matured in Guyana before blending.
A thick, syrupy rum with notes of spice and molasses, a little acetone and a buttery mouthfeel.
Almost certainly the best rum available for the price. It has a rich, sweet flavour that combines beautifully when mixed with cola. It also tastes fantastic neat, and would be dearly appreciated on a cold night.
We use this delicious rum in our award winning patisserie, especially macerated bananas. Marriage made in heaven, down to the treacly rich flavours of the demerera. Whether drinking in its own or in a baked banana pudding, it's a great priced winner.
Lovely aroma, you can really smell the demerara in this one. Only had it neat or with a little water so can't give an opinion on what its like with mixers. Nice mouth feel, slightly spirity but what I really love is the molasses that comes through so ideal for anyone like me with a sweet tooth.
I bought this after reading the positive reviews on here. I have to say I was disappointed. The flavours I tasted were cough syrup and an odd mud flavour. Sorry guys. Regards, G.T.
