Bargain price and quite drinkable
Amber/red colour. Very sugary nose. Quite a harsh alcohol burn and intensely warming. Flavours of slightly burnt sugar, and toffee or butterscotch. Not much of an aftertaste.

Dangerously drinkable very smooth dark rum
My favourite dark rum. Dangerously drinkable neat or just a drop of Stones Ginger wine. Don’t go along with “sweet and syrupy” comments though, clean and very smooth proper Demerara rum (Note Demerara is a place, rum is not sweetened with Demerara sugar )

I'll stick to trawler rum 100%
Sadly, I think it's a bit nasty. It left a false smokey aftertaste and a bit of a residue taste.

Rich in flavour, low in price
Honestly it's just a fantastic rum. Easy to drink with a sweet demerara flavour that's great on its own but mixed very well in cocktails

One of the best
Almost certainly the best rum available for the price. It has a rich, sweet flavour that combines beautifully when mixed with cola. It also tastes fantastic neat, and would be dearly appreciated on a cold night.

Delicious demerara
We use this delicious rum in our award winning patisserie, especially macerated bananas. Marriage made in heaven, down to the treacly rich flavours of the demerera.
Whether drinking in its own or in a baked banana pudding, it's a great priced winner.

Great as a sippr
Lovely aroma, you can really smell the demerara in this one. Only had it neat or with a little water so can't give an opinion on what its like with mixers. Nice mouth feel, slightly spirity but what I really love is the molasses that comes through so ideal for anyone like me with a sweet tooth.
