A rather intriguing rum here, made using ruby chocolate, which is produced with the ruby cocoa bean! It's not actually a new type of cocoa bean, rather it's an unfermented cocoa bean which retains its pink colour (fermenting cocoa beans is what turns them brown). Skipping the fermentation also means that it's fruitier than its fermented counterpart.
Brown sugar, subtle milk chocolate and juicy red berries.

Bought on a whim as I usually drink dark and demerara rum. Strong fruit and chocolate scent, neat tastes like a very strong alcopop. Not a complaint from me. Mixed with coke, tastes like strawberry laces. Not what I expected from a rum at all, but definitely not a problem to a sweet lover like me!!
A great drink I enjoyed it neat and mixed with raspberry lomonade
Amazingly good rum ?❤️
I really enjoyed this after I got used to it. It is unusual but I could taste the chocolate, berries and the rum. Had a couple of friends social distancing and they loved it too. Definitely ordering another bottle!
