A spiced rum from The Glasgow Distillery Co.! Banditti Club is, funnily enough, named after the Banditti Club, a group of rogues who used to gather in Glasgow’s pubs, singing, eating and playing music late into the night. You can see these fellas on the label, though they look slightly intimidating if you ask us.
The rum is distilled from sugarcane juice on the island of Madeira, before it's transported to Glasgow where it spends 12 months maturing in oak casks. It's then spiced with pineapple, orange, cacao and allspice. A thoroughly aromatic and warming rum, a fab pairing with ginger beer and a wedge of lime.
Orang peel and barbecued pineapple, a whole host of fresh tropical fruit building into aromatic spices, with cloves, cinnamon, anise and a hint of white pepper.

A fantastic spiced rum.
Recieved a bottle as a gift and Absolutely delighted with it. very distinct and of course being local happy to support local products.
Very surprising rum. I didn't quite know what to expect from a Glasgow rum..other than OVD which is lovely and sweet I hadn't expected a spice rum. Here is the thing...unlike many other spices rums you can actually taste the spices as if you had just topped the drink with fresh spice. Gingery texture with more than a fleeting taste of cinnamon make this a surprisingly differentandwelckm3 addition to the rums on offer. Won"t appeal to everyone but if you like that little extra flavour then try this.
Bought this thinking it was a new Scottish rum but later found out it's actually from Madeira. The Christmas spices are way over done and could not taste the rum itself which was disappointing.
Saw this in my local Aldi and loved the artwork so bought it and I'm very happy I did. Brilliant tropical notes in the lovely aged spirit. Amazing with ginger beer!
