Unlike the limited edition releases that make up most of That Boutique-y Rum Company's selection, these expression will be continuous release, so you come back to them time after time - and after tasting them, you'll definitely want to. Developed with Pete Holland (of off The Floating Rum Shack fame), this particular treat is made with a combination of unaged rum from Martinique and some particularly bold dark rum from Jamaica. It makes a phenomenal Daiquiri, we'll tell you that!
A delicately sweet and incredibly fresh and fruity nose opens with canned sugar cane juice, Conference pears and foam banana sweets, then dried pineapple rings, a little watermelon and a touch of pink grapefruit tartness. Green notes appear underneath with black olives, classic Martinique grassiness, a hint of seaweed and some eucalyptus leaves.
Pear drops, pineapple and banana bread develop from the nose before some vanilla oak appears on alongside green apples, white grapefruit, stewed winter fruits, salted caramel and a little heat and spice from ginger root.
A touch of funky Agricole joins a prickle of black pepper spice, more olives, kiwi fruit and sugarcane sweetness.
Bright and balanced, this blend will make the Daiquiri you deserve.

This rum is absolutely ASTOUNDING for less than 30 quid a bottle! It's not quite as funky as some Jamaican rums, probably cut by the (I assume) rhum agricole from martinique. I don't make cocktails with my spirits, I just drink them neat, and I've had some £70 rums not as nice as this one. If you like rum you'd be MAD not to pick up a bottle. ALSO there is a cute snake on the label so like... what are you even doing not buying this?
I am not a fan of cocktails so bought this to see how sippable it might be, and for the price, I was very pleasantly surprised. Great fresh taste and just a touch of Jamaican funk. Serve chilled on a warm Summer's evening; wonderful!
Lovely sipping rum and, as the title suggests, makes the PERFECT daiquiri. A lovely middle ground between rum agricole cane juice flavor and a funky jamaican rum, works equally great in cocktails or as a sipper. Couldn't say enough good things about this one
