This is rum with the gloves off. Incredibly potent but with a unique powerful flavour you will either adore or loathe. You must mix this, neat it's too much. A capful in a mug of hot chocolate is just sublime.
Well I took a chance, but wish I had not. For me the taste is awful. I might test it as bait in a wasp trap, or as a weed killer, but I wont be drinking it straight or mixed.
Probably not for drinking neat, but wonderful in coffee and best of all sprinkled on chocolate sponge. Imagine it would be a great addition to hot chocolate, too. It you use it to flambe, it goes off like a rocket- be careful!
Knew nothing about this rum until my daughter bought me a rum selection as a gift. Absolutely loved it, just ordering my second bottle.
Had a strange taste/smell couldn’t place either wouldn’t buy or try this again .
