The one and only Sir Ranulph Fiennes, adventurer extraordinaire, decided to go and bottle his very own rum! Inspiration for the spirit was of course taken from his many, many travels, he teamed up with the English Spirit Distillery. Sir Fiennes didn't age the spirit in a barrel, oh no. He put the barrel in a still, sourcing wood from the locations of his favourite adventures, with Sequoia from Canada, Pine from Norway and Date Palm from Oman. It's then cascaded through the wood, which gives the rum its golden colour. This is certainly a spirit to take you on a journey!
Earthy vanilla, dark chocolate and anise, with melted milk chocolate and aromatic tobacco.
I saw it getting good reviews on Facebook and that it won some awards so thought why not... Real smooth, class taste to it so will order another.

This is an excellent rum - I initially bought this as a present, however after tasting it I bought a bottle for myself! Highly recommend.
This was not what I expected, closer to a whiskey over say a rum, very complex flavour profile, very earthy. and almost, but not, in terms of a latex that leads off to a smoked undertones. with a medium finish. I appreciate that isn't the best description, and under plays the complexity of the drink. There is a lot going on here, and one to sip and contemplate.
