Santa Teresa 1796 is a superb single estate Venezuelan rum. Santa Teresa 1796 is made using the solera method (used more famously in the production of Spanish sherry). The rums in the blend are aged for between five and 35 years, resulting in a smooth, dry and balanced spirit that is perfect for sipping or serving in an Old Fashioned.
Caramel sweetness, toffee brittle, pepper. Cooked apple, foam banana sweets.

This is one of my favourite sipping rums. Elegant with subtle fruit & sweet aromatic, balanced with a dry Cognac-esque finish. One of the best.
Rich and sweet and very smooth. I've tried most of the big Venezuelan Rums, and this is the easiest drinking by far. It tastes of the beach!
Serve with Sugar syrup and fresh mint over ice. Amazing
