From Salford Rum, the same folks behind The Salford Spiced Rum comes this dark spiced rum! It's the second rum from the Manchester-based distillery, featuring a blend of Caribbean rums matured in American white oak bourbon casks. A blend of vanilla, coconut, burnt caramel and clove is added to the aged rum, for a complex and warming flavour profile.
Earthy vanilla pod, distinctive clove and some tobacco in there too, with oak spice, wood char and caramel.
A massive blast of clove and liquorice on the back note. Which in my book is like being poked in the eye and then stamped in the ghoulies...
This rum is gorgeous, it's like pudding in a glass. My new favourite rum with coke and ice.
I run a mobile bar, the dark spiced rum is always a winner, one I recommend over others. Wonderful, deep flavours, great product, in an iconic bottle
