From Salford Rum, the same folks behind The Salford Spiced Rum comes this dark spiced rum! It's the second rum from the Manchester-based distillery, featuring a blend of Caribbean rums matured in American white oak bourbon casks. A blend of vanilla, coconut, burnt caramel and clove is added to the aged rum, for a complex and warming flavour profile.
Earthy vanilla pod, distinctive clove and some tobacco in there too, with oak spice, wood char and caramel.
Bought one a few months ago and added the bottle box option. Lovely and warming, one of the best I have tried. Had mine with coke and ginger beer and both are amazing. Thanks MoM and Salford Rum
I may have been unlucky with my bottle but it had a potent floral bouquet that reminded me of those 'rose petal' jelly air-freshers my gran had in the toilet. The taste clings to my palette and makes me retch. Lovely packaging though.
I received a bottle of this for my birthday during Lockdown 2020. What a gift! You can really taste & smell the vanilla and caramel. Delicious; I’ll be ordering more!
