An independently bottled Guyanese rum from Rum Exchange! This one was distilled back in 2008 in the famed Port Mourant double wooden pot still. It rested in a bourbon cask until 2019, when it was bottled up at a generous 58.3% ABV, with an outturn of just 252 bottles.
Aniseed and a sweet maltiness, with ginger, a big hit of pepper and date sweetness, alongside bitter cacao and a suggestion of smoke.
