Superb rum from the Dominican Republic, with a very handsome bottle and wonderfully full-bodied flavour profile.
Dried fruit aplenty! Behind the juicy raisin and prune, there's notes of almond and vanilla ice cream.
This is a great rum. Full bodied with a lot of flavour. There is a low key hint of sweetness that I've never encountered in a rum before. It would be sacrilege to adulterate this one with anything. Highly recommended although it's slightly rough edge means that I wouldn't rush to buy it again, but I would list it in my top ten rums - to date.
This is a really delicious and well balanced rum, especially for the price. Works well on its own, with coke and also make a superb Rum Old Fashioned.
Not enough in a sample to cry fair or foul...acceptable and will try a bottle sometime soon.
