The Original Dark expression from Planteray has had a little bit of a revamp! It's now made with aged rum from Trinidad and Jamaica, which then blended together and aged further in Cognac casks, which should impart some fruity richness to the expression...
An excellent and robust tasting rum, and especially for its price
This is my new favourite dark rum. Delish with cola or tropical crush and at this price you can't go wrong.
An absolute bargain rum at this price. Try it, you won't regret it.
This is excellent. Sweet, dark and rich with a fruity toffee quality. A good balance of the Jamaican and Barbados styles. Works well neat with a couple (not too many) cubes of ice. Have yet to try it for cocktails but think it would be good with ginger beer. For this price you’ll struggle to find better.
Recently bought a bottle of this having been on my wishlist for a while and so pleased that I did. Full of rich flavour that lasts after each sip and beautifully smooth.
