A superb-looking decanter bottle of XO rum from Barbados, aged in bourbon barrels before being shipped to France for a secondary maturation in Cognac casks from the Ferrand house. The result is a well balanced rum with a remarkably long finish, with a palate of chocolate, banana, coconut and mango. Now this is some very good stuff.
Hints of spicy oak on the nose, with guava, a little desiccated coconut and dried banana. Buttery.
Spiced, creamy palate entry, with sweet vanilla notes and caramel. Oaky spices.
Caramel. Toasted oak.

There are much better rums available for the money. It's too sugary, the alcohol is poorly integrated and it has a disappointing finish.
Bought as a present, very satisfied.
This is a repeat purchase…so good the first time and just as good again…….great value for money. Not harsh at all as it kisses the back of the throat.
I’ve been drinking rum for 10 years. This is the best rum I’ve ever tasted. I’ve had a few Plantation rums and all good but this is exceptional. It’s smooth and creamy with hints chocolate and vanilla. Very moreish. Worth the price.
The best rum I and everyone I know has tasted. I don't understand the negative reveiws. They all seem to be pointing to another particular brand so may be trying to poach the target audience. This rum is incredibly smooth and is oaky and subtly sweet. I have expensive taste and waste alot of it mixing it with a splash of coke and a ton of ice.. Happy summer x
