The Original Dark expression from Planteray has had a little bit of a revamp! It's now made with aged rum from Trinidad and Jamaica, which then blended together and aged further in Cognac casks, which should impart some fruity richness to the expression...

I must have tried over 20 rums and for me planteray or plantation original dark is the best flavoured ,smooth enjoyable rum of the lot and what's more is easily the best value on the market
It's that good, converted my wife from gin and vodka, big mistake but worth it,
as good as it gets in its price range,full of flavour and difficult to put down.I would recommend this to all rum drinkers as a best buy and delightful rum
My three favourite rums at this price; Planteray, Santiago, Dunderhead. All different and all superb. The Plantation rums have a lovely caramel richness unlike anything else I've tried, generally the more you pay the better they are, obvs. The sweet point is Sealander for me but Planteray is excellent for the price
First time trying plantation and it's instantly became one of my favourites. Rich in flavour and has a good smooth finish. Definitely worth buying
