A fabulous rum from the mountainous Oaxaca region of Mexico! Paranubes Rum is made from sugarcane juice, grown without pesticides or fertilisers in the rich soils of master distiller Jose Luis Carrera’s farm. The fresh-pressed cane is wild fermented and the result is a unique sipping rum that is excellent served neat with ice, and should be fantastic for Daiquiris and punches too!
Silky smooth, with delicate notes of mint and apricot, fresh cane juice and pure sugar sweetness, underpinned by slightly grassy flavours.

Very much in the clairin camp this - Sajous in particular. It's briney and slightly sour, and vegetal, and it has that somewhat overpowering smell that quickly fills the room and attacks your senses. Pretty smooth with it though. I find it much more drinkable neat than most clairin, or most white rum for that matter. Perhaps not as stellar in it's intensity or complexity as Sonson or Le Rocher, and therefore not as appealing for me as a cocktail rum as those, but mightily impressed.
