Old J Gold Spiced rum bottled at 40%, flavoured with Persian lime and vanilla. Enjoy over ice with ginger beer and a slice of lime.
Toffees and lime-led citrus with vanilla and a touch of oak developing.

I've tried many spiced rums and keep coming back to Old J. If you want spiced rum you want it to be tasy and good enough to drink neat. Here you go, not overdone or contrived just delicious, try it
The smell of this rum is so devine that it literally makes my taste buds tingle. Drank neat, it’s delightfully sweet, with very little alcohol burn, thanks to the fact that the vanilla is neither ‘thin’ nor overbearing, but pretty close to perfection. This results in two things, A) It never becomes sickly. And B) It’s incredibly easy to drink neat. Mixed with Coca-Cola, you’ll find that the coke makes the vanilla pop even more, whilst calming the miniscule amount of alcohol burn.
I've had a few drinks in my life but nothing compares to this. Too sweet with coke... but have it neat, stick an ice cube in there and simply enjoy it with a little sip and let it mellow in your mouth. It smells almost as good as it tastes. Bottles twice the price are put to shame by this beauty
Old J for me is the best tasting Rum I have had the pleasure of drinking and even rivals ones that are twice it’s price and that’s what makes it great. I would consider the Gold my 2nd favourite, with TIKI fire being my 1st. It’s got more of an alcoholic punch then the standard bottle but still maintains a lovely vanilla and lime taste. Nice straight but much prefer with a good mixer.
I think this is the nicest spiced rum that I have had for a long time. Very interesting flavours
