Very smooth rum with vanilla being at the forefront of the taste with the lime complimenting it very nicely. Nice enough that I don’t want/need a lime slamming in the drink. This rum turned my head upside down and around and around and is the best I have yet to try out of all the Rums on the market. You get just the right bite with the drink and to me that’s what I look for. Pleasant taste, with just that right alcoholic bite to compliment it and make you feel like you are drinking something . It’s got the style, it’s got the flavour. It’s a winner not a loser. It’s not the best, TIKI fire is the best. 75.5% with not much change in taste but with a slightly and I mean slightly stronger bite.
As Spiced Rums go, this is certainly now a favourite of mine after having just finished my first bottle. Pop your nose over the bottle when you first crack the cap and you’ll be sold even before your first sip. Try it neat, or with Ginger Ale.
Hints of vanilla?? It’s very over powering vanilla taste but nice with ice or mixed with coke. One of my favourite rums
Wonderful smooth taste, the vanilla after taste is amazing. Well worth a try, always wishing it was a larger bottle
