Ive been trying a lot of Mauritian rum having recently discovered Penny Blue white rum and Chamarels White and the Exotic spice, this rum is like the very best disco juice money can buy, very easy to drink and such a nice sweet flavour, mixes very well with cola or ginger ale, soda water with elderflower is probably best. Other rums from Mauritius to try are rhe bougainville white also the lemongrass, also try the Arcane Crush and the Labourdonais white50°
Really nice rum , perfect for sipping. Not the best in the Arcane range though
I tried the cheaper version and found it had a weird flavour. This one however, whilst the flavour profile is unique, it is also delicious. Definitely fruity and spicy but it has unique notes that I can't identify, a little like Plantation does. So many rums are samey or have unsubtle flavourings making them, in my view, a little contrived. This, however, has an authenticity and understated confidence that I love. My favourite rum for now. Do try it, worth every penny
