
Some say that Indonesian rum was being crafted from sugar long before it was being made in the Carribean. Nusa Caña Rum was created to honour that forgotten spirit using a blend of island rums, predominately from Bali. These rums were distilled using local sugar cane molasses and forest-filtered water, which was fermented with red rice and distilled in Chinese pot stills. This spirit was then aged in hardwood created tasty and vibrant white rum.

This spirit delivers in its nod to its rich long-standing rum making history. Although made from molasses, it captures a light rhum-agricole style that offers a perfect introduction to this style of rum. Beautifully made.
