
This is the fourth Experimental Cask Edition rum from Scotland's Ninefold distillery. Distilled from scratch from sugar cane molasses, the rum was then filled into a host of little oloroso sherry octaves that previously held Scotch whisky on Christmas Eve 2021, and matured for the next two years and nine months before bottling at cask strength. A release of 238 bottles, without added colour, sugar, or chill filtration.
Expect abundant chocolate, fudge and toffee notes, along with the unmistakable smokiness of oloroso and some fruity whisky background notes.
