From the Old Monk range produced by Mohan Meakin in India comes The Legend, a well-aged blended rum presented in a bottle supposedly shaped like the head of H.G. Meakin, the company's founder. Pretty awesome.

I'm in Goa right now and have been drinking this rum in my hotel for about 40 pence a (large) shot! Outside the hotel that sells it. I just bought a bottle for 200 Indian rupees. That's less than 2 Quid!!! The expensive reserve is £3. I'll be bringing some of that home and would happily have paid more. What a result!
Lovely dark rum, don't be put off by the name or location... this is a smooth rum full of flavour.
This rum is colossally awful, aggressive and and for £77 there are countless better rums available. For the love of rum, don't buy this (plus it costs about £15 in Indian airports, this is massively inflated)
Now that’s a sipping rum. PERFECT!!
