Single estate Mauritian white rum, made from sugar cane juice rather than molasses. Although unaged, it is regularly stirred in stainless steel vats for at least six months prior to bottling, a process that the Rhumerie de Chamarel say helps remove some of the unwanted, volatile compounds.

Honeydew melon and icing sugar. Develops a bite of cassia and peppercorn notes soon enough.

This Premium white Rum is seriously good. I tried it neat and there was an explosion of flavours in my mouth maybe because it was agricole. Its nothing like I have tried, definitely smoother and tastier on the palette and in the mouth compared to other agricoles I have had. When mixed also, the rum still retains lots of character without losing its flavours. Really good stuff this. Its up there with with some of the big hitters!! Fancy a cuba libre try with this with coke.. Amazing!
