Kraken Spiced Rum is an excellent example of spiced rum, with utterly brilliant packaging! This was launched in the UK in early 2010, and it has an extraordinarily rich, spicy flavour. Named for the legendary sea monster, Kraken is a blend of Caribbean rums that should certainly suit any fans of rich, navy-style rum.
Spicy and rich with notes of vanilla and toffee apples. Hints of lime and cinnamon too.
Dark, rich palate. Thick with molasses and tar, and a barrage of cinnamon, golden syrup, nutmeg and charred oak.
Long, very spicy finish.

OMG and I thought that Captain Morgan's spiced rum was the best - move over !!!!The flavor is exquisite and goes down very well with coke - my all-time favorite's and I don't think anything can top the Kraken!
Fantasmagorical, crushed ice , fresh lime add a healthy belt of the dark stuff !! Get easy and relax , replenish as and when required
way to off the wall with flavors, sweet molasses start followed by 10 uncomplimentary flavors including but not limited to licorice, cherry, cinnamon, plums... bottom line is it's not a simple rum but in this case I wish it was. Sometimes less is more. The only reason I'll give 3 stars is simply because at 47 percent it's at least easy to get drunk on!
If you're after something that tastes like Tia Maria's dad then this is the rum for you. It's sweet and treacly and bears about as much relation to a good rum as a Bounty Bar does to a coconut. On the plus side it eats Sailor Jerry for breakfast and has a great bottle to stick a candle in after. But for 79p less you can get a bottle of Gosling Black Seal. That's a got a picture of a seal on the front. Sure, it's not as cool a kraken, but the contents tastes incomparably better.
It is ok, but perhaps too much flavored I guess with additives... Please don't talk about coke, this might be the worst soft to mix with rum. If you want a rhum which worth it I would advise you to buy Bacardi 8yo or havana 7yo and if your budget is a bit higher: diplomatico RE, zacapa 23, or plantation 89
