Kraken Spiced Rum is an excellent example of spiced rum, with utterly brilliant packaging! This was launched in the UK in early 2010, and it has an extraordinarily rich, spicy flavour. Named for the legendary sea monster, Kraken is a blend of Caribbean rums that should certainly suit any fans of rich, navy-style rum.
Spicy and rich with notes of vanilla and toffee apples. Hints of lime and cinnamon too.
Dark, rich palate. Thick with molasses and tar, and a barrage of cinnamon, golden syrup, nutmeg and charred oak.
Long, very spicy finish.
Tastes like rum and flat coke ..... utterly devoid of character, overly sweet and sickly. I guess when they have to refer to the packaging in the product description, it tells you all you need to know about the drink itself

Spicy.and smooth rich Finnish.
This is a wonderful rum it's spicy but not too much it has in my opinion a treacle taste that compliments the spice. I only drink this neat it's very smooth and moreish.
Not rum. Artificial over flavoured junk trying to conceal a cheap, harsh rum base. It might be trendy and appeal to those who just want to smother it in cola and get drunk but for the same money Sailor Jerry and Captain Morgan are far better options.
