This rum is pot distilled from sugar cane grown at the Kakira Sugar Estate in Uganda, located on the shores of Lake Victoria. Aged in a combo of bourbon and sherry casks for at least five years, it's rich with layers of caramel and molasses that ought to sit happily mixed with cola, or make a sturdy base for tropical cocktails.
Banana loaf, molasses, dark caramel, and rich oak, with vanilla, maple syrup, and earthy tea beneath.
