The nose is fruity. Notes of molasses and spice. The palate is fruity and a little spirity. There are notes of banana and Demerara as well as spice and a little oak. The finish is long and spiced.
The one and only. Quite amazing that a liquor this potent can still be palatable. A splash makes just about any tropical cocktail taste more authentic. Still, be careful. This is not to be trifled with.
This rum does exactly what it sets out to do and it does it VERY well. Tropical fruit flavours burst over the palate. Use this sparingly (a barspoon) in a rum/tiki cocktail and it lifts the entire drink like no other product I have ever come across. Highly recommended. Don't listen to the morons whinging about how strong it is because they've been shooting it neat.
