Hogerzeil Marianne de Paraguay Cask Strength Rum
A rather burly cask strength rum here from Paraguay's Hogerzeil Distillery produced for the Marianne de Paraguay range, which has been distilled from organic molasses and then aged in French oak. The smoky, treacle forward rum was then bottled at 54% ABV, with its higher strength making it great for mixing.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Notes of ground almond, dark chocolate and black treacle, leading into a touch of caramel on a dry, smoky finish.
