A spiced rum here from Hawksbill, made with a mission – to protect the critically endangered Hawksbill turtle. Rums from Guyana and Trinidad have been bolstered with vanilla, raisin, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and a dash of sea salt for balance. Each bottle sold helps fund turtle conservation projects in the Caribbean, all while tasting delicious.
Vanilla and dried fruit sweetness followed by waves of cardamom and nutmeg spice, with touches of sea salt appearing throughout.

We got my brother a bottle of this stuff, knowing nothing beforehand. Genuinely surprising, taste was delicious, like salted caramel with a slight vanilla kick, it honestly didn't need anything added to it. No mixer, ice chilled it nicely but it didn't need anything to dilute it, the burn was pleasant, warming and not harsh. If anything, I have to urge caution on how pleasant this was to drink before realising we'd polished 3/4 of the bottle and wondering why the room was at a 45 degree angle. As always, drink responsibly, and drink to a good cause, this was a lovely beverage and we'll be buying this again.
I bought a Bottle of this rum, when I went to get my usual canerock rum, which aoshi has a turtle on the bottle. It was much cheaper so I thought I'll give it a try. Oh my gosh! What a excellent drink. Very smooth and it pours quite thick, compared to some wine that just pours watery. This is in my top 5 rum list.
I was given a drop of this rum while in Barbados while helping with the hawksbill turtles. Such a great blend of taste wow it’s amazing give it a try.
