The Havana Club Máximo is an Extra Añejo rum made from a decidedly illustrious blend of rare, old rums taken from their extensive reserves, crafted by the skilled hands of Maestro Ronero, Don José Navarro. An extraordinary Cuban rum for the cognoscenti and connoisseurs.
Of course, a rum of this stature comes presented impeccably, in a handmade crystal decanter alongside crystal stopper with the Giraldilla etched upon it.
A stupendously rich, decadent nose, rife with pear, coconut, dried fruits, oak and fragrant smoke.
Drying oak develops on the palate, which grows intense and balances the supreme sweet notes of dried fruits and vanilla. Dark chocolate surrounds it all, rich and luxurious.
Long and well spiced.
Truly unforgettable, a love letter to Cuban rum from Havana Club.
I do love it, but if you dont have the opportunity to buy it, as it is very expensive, Hananna 7 is very similar.
Overrated due to American embargo. Not bad, but Ron Prohibido Solera from Mexico and Zacapa Centenario taste the same, if not better, for a lot less money.
