Gorgeous

I must admit I don't like it neat, but i love it when mixed with other rums and/or a cold mixer. Smooth and strong. My favorite rum to have with rum.

Tasty very very tasty

Gosling 252 is a smooth but fiery rum, despite its strength I find it lovely with just one ice cube. Brings out the flavour and allows one to sip it without using mixers. Not my first bottle nor my last

Great Gift

A great sailing friend loves this in his dark and stormies. It’s not easily available here so brilliant to find. Amazingly well packaged. It’s own personal air bag! Very sweet and cozy.

A very powerful bottle!

An intriguing bottle with all the warnings not to open it near a flame etc. Used it in a Hawaiian Hammer cocktail to very good effect. Booze on the Rocks posted the recipe on YouTube and I shook it with a whole tray of small ice cubes. A very tasty and fruity drink though it definitely had whooomph!

Ninth bottle in five moths

Every overproofed alchohol I have tasted before was similar to really extreme heat curries... They were there as a challenge but not for enjoyment, UNTIL I discovered Goslings 151. It is a ridiculously easy drink to take, a @Dark & Stormy' made from it and Goslings own Ginger Beer and slice of lime, is one of lifes beautiful pleasures, it has become our drink of choice, despite a cupboard full of Malts & Gins. Obviously beware, two of thes is plenty of a Friday night, but I can't think of many other drinks at the moment that are as refreshing OR as potent. We are very restrained drinkers, a couple of drinks on a Friday & Saturday night, but this recent purchase was our ninth bottle since September. Make of that what you will. Happy to recommend.
